Overall Conference Comments

What portion of the 2001 HR Summit did you enjoy the most?

  • Session on Life Balance - she was so entertaining and made a lot of great points to learn from.
  • Location (Charleston!) and the general sessions
  • Networking opportunities, compensation session, panel format of some of the sessions
  • Pre-conference workshop on competencies—not aware of these tools and feel they will be very valuable to our CU. Demo of ABRA software, retention session, and of course, Laura Hamilton!
  • All the keynotes were enjoyable and had valuable information.
  • As a first-time participant, I enjoyed the networking opportunity the most. I also liked the schedule, including repeats of breakout sessions, so that I could attend all the sessions that were of interest to me.
  • Laura Hamilton's session on Gaining Balance. It's enlightening to have such an upbeat speaker.
  • I enjoyed the sessions that were forward thinking and help us see how we can help lead our organizations.
  • It is a good thing to touch base with peers and discuss topics that are important issues, and to know that my areas of concern are my peers' concern also.
