Agenda

"The Trail to Santa Fe"

Ninth Annual CUNA HR/TD and Training & Development Council Summit
April 30-May 3, 2003 * Santa Fe, NM

Through most of the 1800s, the Santa Fe Trail was the principal route west across the great plains to the Spanish town of Santa Fe. Although it doesn’t take ten weeks these days, a trip to Santa Fe is still a journey to another time and place. Join us at the end of the trail at the Eldorado Hotel and the Hilton Santa Fe in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico for the Ninth Annual Summit of the CUNA HR and Training and Development Council.

It’s a gathering of the finest minds in the fields of credit union HR and Training and Development. You’ll learn new techniques for inspiring yourself and your co-workers to new heights of motivation and performance. You’ll get specific, nuts-and-bolts information you can put to work as soon as you return. And you’ll have ample opportunities to network, share, laugh, and learn with colleagues from all over the country.

This preconference workshop begins with the goals of asset/liability management and outlines the eleven primary ratios that ultimately determine the credit union’s CAMEL score, including the four primary ratios highlighted in NCUA Letter 00-CU-08. Each ratio has a page in the handout material that includes a basic definition of the ratio, a formula for calculating the ratio, the ideal result, and the factors that affect the ratio outcome.

Charlotte Stuart, Ph.D., Organizational Development Consultant, Boeing Employees Credit Union, Seattle, WA
Debi Ruth, Learning Delivery Manager, Boeing Employees Credit Union, Seattle, WA

Does your credit union still think that training is the solution to every problem? Everyone knows what a trainer is supposed to do, but what does a performance consultant do? And how do you explain to management that you want to create a performance consulting culture? Join us to learn the recipe for a perfect blend of training and performance consulting for your credit union.
