Call for Executive Committee Nominations - CUNA HR/TD Council

The CUNA HR/TD Council is built around the democratic process of elected leadership. To that end, the current Executive Committee members are pleased to announce the Council's call for nominations for seats on the Executive Committee.

During this election, three seats will be elected to three-year terms.

A nominating committee chaired by Executive Committee Chair Kent Streuling VP- Human Resources at America First FCU, Riverdale , Utah will evaluate and present recommended candidates to the membership for democratic election. The committee will take care to present a slate of candidates that both exceed the number of vacancies and presents as geographically and professionally balanced roster as possible.

Candidates for the Executive Committee must be CUNA HR/TD Council members in good standing; credit union employees with human resources or training and development as a primary responsibility; willing and able to serve a three-year term; and attend meetings and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of an Executive Committee member. Those duties include attendance at up to two planning meetings per year and the ability to spend 50 hours per year on HR/TD Council work. Full Executive Committee position descriptions will be provided to all candidates submitting the required materials.

The election will be conducted via on-line ballot which will be available to members on February 1, 2008. Ballots must be completed for tallying by February 18, 2008. New officers will take their Executive Committee seats at the conclusion of the 14th Annual CUNA HR/TD Council Summit to be held April 20 – 23 at the all new Renaissance Waterfront Hotel in Boston , Massachusetts .
